Your adapter may have resistors soldered in which are meant to terminate the bus. If communications don't work with the adapter connected, check for the termination resistors on its PCB and try removing them.

This software lets you simulate the acceleration of a car which is always good for any car enthusiacs including myself. In my opinion, with a little more improvements, it should be ready to go into the market. Also, this software is very accurate as the exact top speed of my favourite car was calculated on this and in practicality it was the exact same as i had calculated previously.
